I've seen a lot of the stupid sh*t Russians and other Eastern Blockers do. Your stupid sh*t pales in comparison to most of the stuff I've seen. Russia has gone from a poor disheveled country during the cold war to a very much "look at me" voyeuristic culture where 20 and 30 somethings are always trying to impress each other and sleep with whoever will have them. Much of Europe and South America are right there with them. It's really sad as most Russians these days seem to have very loose or no morals at all. I'm not implying that you fit into that box. I mean, you do live here now, and no matter how bad things get here, they'll always be a lot worse over there. Most stupid Americans are the result of the trickle down effect of what starts on the other side of the pond.

Nope, no meds today....or most days in general. Motrin sometimes after I've read through this thread or others you participate in, but that's generally the extent of my meds.

I think the tendency for people from 3rd world countries is a dog eat dog competitive attitude where the end justifies the means. The sense of morality often appears in middle class and sometimes in the upper classes.
In many of the entitlement programs, there is a tendency to game the system wherever possible, which adds to cost unnecessarily. I'm rambling far off topic though...

I saw some Midol on your mom's nightstand the other day. I grabbed some on the way out of there thinking it was aspirin, but fortunately for me I read the label before I took any. Still not sure if it would have helped the headache she left me with. I see where you get your smarts from.

Not a problem Dave. I can get that stuff all day long from this Russian online pharmacy I know. Cheap too!
I'm really done with Russian **** though, until they figure out how to do a better job covering up needle track marks.

After listening to her yammering for a while, I likened it to listening to your grandparents talk about the olden days. It's OK for a while, but by the time you've heard the same story for the 10th time in 30 minutes, it starts to get old and you need something for your headache. Fortunately I was able to sneak out the door without her seeing me.

Precisely! I told the poor guy several times in this thread that he needed to get his wreck fixed the right way, but he kept insisting on buying steering wheels and refrigerators. I finally gave up on offering him any more sensible advice and decided to sit down with his mom to see where he gets it from. It didn't take long to figure out that he got his smarts from her.
Am I moving any closer to #2 in this thread?

Ladies and gentlemen, we'll be back after a short break. Meanwhile the manager would like us to announce that there's a black Mercedes with a crushed rear end parked sideways in a handicap space with its headlights and flashers on.

Correct. Likely because he blew his budget and a lot more when he went way overboard with crap like a wooden steering wheel and car fridge. He's quite a character.

This thread is at least as important to him if not more important than finishing the car. Once the car is finished, the thread will be over. He's in no rush whatsoever for the thread to fade off of the front page.

You aren't qualified of owning such a car. There is no shame in this. You are living way beyond your means.
I find it incomprehensible that you stated this car would only cost a mere $1000 to fix and you don't have that available as discretionary funds, savings or a credit card you could use to get this car fixed and on the road.
After sifting threw this train wreck of a thread you aren't even qualified to own an Acura either. Go lease yourself a nice Hyundai and be happy. Use this poor decision as a life lesson to help you work towards achieving real success (legally) that will help you be able to actually purchase a running and driving car.
