Rebuilt title means this is a salvage vehicle. If it was a flood vehicle, it could be in for some very expensive electrical repairs in the future. If it was a collision vehicle, was it properly repaired? Worst case, this might be bargain as a parts vehicle. In any case, I would ask for a detailed explanation of what the original damage to this vehicle was along with a detailed explanation of the repairs that were performed.

It looks to be a bargain as it's only half the price that BenzS55 thinks his year older, similar mileage, undocumented NYC branded title car is worth.

It was just a bit of sarcasm aimed at my buddy BenzS55 and his fanboys in his thread. If the car in the ad you posted is a fully functional properly rebuilt car and not a parts car, then $10-11k is probably about the right price for it.

BTW, BenzS55 has gone from post ***** to MIA. I wonder what happened to him?

Part is expensive on this vehicle, it's a good buy for someone that has knowledge and is able to turn wrench. Unlike older models, they need scanner and special tools to trouble shot even on minor issue.

If it is a flood vehicle it is worth zero.

Otherwise salvage vehicles generally command 1/3 to 1/2 less money

Ya, flood vehicles are junk. With collisions, you can see more precisely what the extent of the damage is. Even then they can fool ya.
