Engine Issues
Tumble flap shafts sticks in non actuated position.
Compression test next.
What would cause this code? Would it cause a misfire?
Well.. Let me tell you.. We did full engine static compression test.. Good, swapped the coils, swapped the spark plug, swapped the fuel injectors , 5 -8 , all good.. Same failure.. Cyl #8 , probe the engine computer to see if it's was sending signal to injector.. Ok. On the dynamic compression test.. It was 65psi.. While the others was 85.. We will do a leak down test next.. Narrowing down a little at a time
Manifold is coming off so he will see.
Brainstorming if it's anything else additionally

Next step, swap coil packs to different cylinders if fault code follows, replace affected coil packs. If not and engine # is within range, perform compression test “may” be cylinder head. See bulletin here: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls-coupe...ml#post6857762
Would this item be excluded in an aftermarket warranty? Exclusions include burnt valves and valve grinding.
Would spraying some sea foam help as a temporary fix? How else could you treat the valves?
head needs to come off and machined/ new guide inserted. cam lobes need to be inspected for abnormal wear.
