Engine Issues
After start up the engine light flashes five times and then stays on.
The codes that show up are: P0335, P0444, P0300, PO307 and P0308.
I changed the spark plugs and crank shaft sensor to no avail. I previously changed out the charcoal gas filter.
Thoughts?
Thank you.

Next step, swap coil packs to different cylinders if fault code follows, replace affected coil packs. If not and engine # is within range, perform compression test “may” be cylinder head. See bulletin here: https://mbworld.org/forums/cls-coupe...ml#post6857762

Which cylinders are 7 and 8?
If I switch the coil packs would the new codes be P0306 and P0307 (just and example) -- thereby concluding it's the cool pack?

Appears to be heavy on oil as well.
Anything else to try?
Thanks
Thank you for the post. I viewed the provide picture and it shows that cylinder 7 and 8 are the last two on the drivers side. However your statement "Firing order driver side 1/3/5/7, passenger 2/4/6/8" implies cylinder 7 is on the driver side and cylinder 8 is on the passenger side -- which would indicate the drawing is inaccurate.
Please clarify. Thank you in advance.
Just bought a code reader and going to analyze the codes and see what the difference I post install. Will post results.
I also purchased the MB Wisa/Aria and EPC diagnostic tool.
If all else fails will check compression and cylinder heads.
The code reader came. I replaced cylinder 7 and 8 coils and spark plugs which cleared PO300 and PO307.
The only code that remains is PO308.
I switched wires from 7 cylinder to 8 and 8 still misfires.
Are there any other things that I cam do our test before I go to the compression test?
Thank you.
Guess swap injector 8 with 7 and see if misfire follows to answer your question on the injector.

The 2007 S550 is plagued with engineering and material defects. Whenever I fix one problem another occurs.
I'm going to fix it and sell it. G class is on the radar.
