Ac blowing hot air from 1 vent only
Hello All Mercedes lovers.
I currently drive a 2012 S550 and am having problems with my AC.
When I turn on my AC I sometimes get hot air from either driver or passenger side then it cold air. I've taken my car multiple times to the dealer with no luck. (Since it only happens occasionally)
Has anyone heard of experienced this problem, what solutions are there?

Ignore Plutoe....he's wrong. If your Freon level were low or empty, you wouldn't get cold air out of any of the vents.
There are multiple sensors in the car that determine body and ambient temperatures. You might have a bad or dirty sensor, or possibly nothing wrong at all. It's not unusual to have your symptoms. Since it corrects itself in 30 seconds, I wouldn't worry about it.

you have a bending/ slow/ sticky air diverter/ damper in the dash. this is common.
depending on which one is stuck it might require pulling the dash or part of it.
i recommend a damper harmonization procedure executed via das first... if that doesnt address the issue then dive into the dash (a miserable, contortionist- worthy job)
