Seriously considering buying a 2013 S550, but has a carfax blemish
Hello,
I found a really nice used 2013 S550 Andorite Gray/Ash with all the options I could ever want (drivers assist, pano roof, sport pac, night vision, entertainment system, rear seat package, splitview, etc)..it's loaded. It has 52k miles and is being sold at a Mercedes dealer certified. After reviewing the carfax, it states "rear end impact, but airbags did not deploy". The MB dealership states that the repair was not enough that MB would not certify it. Apparently the bumper had to be painted entirely, but no other apparent paintwork.
Usually, a carfax blemish will warrant a discount on the vehicle, and some buyers won't even consider the car. This car is in awesome shape. The dealership is selling it at a fair price certified.
Any thoughts either way about this? Any input appreciated.
