Wrong antifreeze/coolant used in 2010 S550
Hello ... I let a friend use my 2010 S550. I was told my blue antifreeze/coolant was low. He didn't call me and top it off with orange antifrreze. WOULD the orange antifreeze ruin anything. Please help and thanks in advance.

As said, color isn't enough information to say. If the orange coolant was the old MB formulation (unlikely - they went blue in 2006) or Zerex G05 brand, then you are ok and no worries. If it is anything else, and especially any flavor of DexCool, then a full flush and refill is called for. DexCool is the stuff that can cause sledging when mixed with other coolant formulations.

You need to be using the MB Anticorrosion/Antifreeze Agent, part # BQ1030004 in your car. Do not use any off the shelf brands. You can either get it from the dealer or even try eBay. It needs to be diluted 50/50 with distilled water and is blue in color. You should be able to get if for around $25/gallon.
