Suspension Service Saturday - coming up!

I bought the AGA ABC Flush tool for my W221. Friend is bringing over his W220 ABC as well.

I'll update this post with how the tool works as well!

The tool worked perfectly. Made it so easy to do. My fluid wasn't too bad, so only needed 9 liters for a flush to the point where the fluid coming out, was just about the same as what was going in. I poured fluid while my friend constantly cycled the ride height.

The fluid up top was what I pumped out and, the green blob is about what I pumped in

Of course, I finished up with a new filter installed then cycled it about 5 more times to bleed out any air. I can't say enough good things about that tool. It's incredibly well made and makes what used to be a horrible job on the W221 about as easy as an oil change.

I wish I knew of more/any local ABC car owners. I'd love to share the tool with them

oh crap, a little far for me. Glad the tool worked well for you, though! Was your filter the type that you have to unhook from the cover or the other type? I thought mine was going to be the drop in type, but when I inspected it, it was the older version that attaches to the cover. (I think that's the older version, not sure)

My filter itself lives in a "basket" that is attached to the reservoir cap. As far as older version or newer version... the only difference is the older filter (what came in the W220 originally) was a 10 micron. The new filter looks the same, but is 3 micron. So, much better filtering out of crap. There's no difference in location of the filter either new or old and I believe only thing for sale today is the new, 3 micron filter.
