Maybe there is some loose part inside the door panel, you might open the door panel to see what is happened there.

Hey man, nice jammies!

I have a door teardown to do in a couple of days. Thanks for the instruction on removing the panel! That was the only part of the job that was giving me anxiety. I can probably wing it on the glass and window stuff.
