Auto sensing door handle stopped working

Keyless door handle stopped working
Hi everyone,
Just found this issue on my 2013 S550. It's the auto sensing door handle where you pull to unlock and press to lock. Both the lock button and unlock mechanism are dead. Only the driver side has stoped working though, the other three doors work fine. The key fob still locks and unlocks the problem door. Anyone could shed a light on what it might be or where to start? Appreciate any input very much!
Update: With some help, it looks like the next step is to remove the door handle. Is there anyone here could share how exactly to do that please? Searching and workshop manual I found didn't get the clear picture on how to do it. Thank you very much in advance.

I have seen you a lot helping others. It definitely means a lot. Thank you so much! It does look pretty straightforward from the manual. Just wanted to sure, there's no screws or anything involved that require removal first? Just pull the small part out by force?
Edit: Found the grommet. Pretty sure there's the screw in there. Will attempt it when I get a chance.

The Same thing happened to me on my S350. Any idea on how much this would cost at a MB dealership to fix? I am not very mechanical, but this seems like a straight forward job to me. Thank you.

I've seen people being quoted $300 for part and $150 to get painted or something similar. Did the lock button and pull unlock stopped working at the same time on yours?

All my locks are working fine, and the FOB works fine as well. 3 of the 4 doors when you approach them, and you have the key on you - they automatically unlock. It is just the drivers door handle that does not work properly. Although it used to. That is why I believe that some sort of sensor is not working in the drivers door handle, and I was hoping that someone knew of the rough cost of fixing it at a MB dealership...
