2007 S600
S600 analogue clock adjust

S600 analogue clock adjust - waiting on a replacement book pack, changed the time in the vehicle settings, but it hasn't adjusted the analogue clock. Anybody offer advice please ?

There is a permanent fix, courtesy of Mr. @Polar Bear . As a quick temporary fix, park your car somewhere with no GPS reception and shut it off for an hour or so. Turn on the ignition (dont need to start it), set the clock in COMAND, and it will sync the analog clock. And the analogue one too, if you happen to be in one of those countries.

I am happy to report that the fix released last year has now become official and is the official Daimler fix for this issue using the exact same ISO. I will post the TIPS article shortly.

Brilliant job with the fix and the move to "official" status

I used the fix just last week on my 2007 S350

Was slightly concerned it would break something, but the feedback on the forums persuaded me it was safe.

When COMAND rebooted and the clock wound to the correct time I was very pleased.

Can you share how you coded the fix? Does this mean there's a COMAND SDK or was it something quite low-level?

Thanks very much for making the fix available.
