Dash center speaker removal???

Dash center speaker removal???

Is there anyone have removed dash center speaker for replacement? I removed cover grille trim however seem I can't take speaker out via this hole on the dash cover. Do i need to take our completely dash panel cover for access to this speaker?

did you fix this? I have the exact same question and problem can’t seem to find an answer but assume the whole dash needs to be pulled

It will not help to remove center speaker even you can touch it, because there are 03 bolts mount speaker is very dificult to access due to space is very tight if you not remove completely dash panel cover.

I need to use a very special tools to remove these bolts, however with this tools, removal and remounts speaker still difficult.

Anyone find the easy way to replace this speaker? I cannot even remove speaker cover.. I’ve got another speaker but I would like to know how before I start. Thanks

Remove speaker cover is easy, you just pry and pull it out because it just lock by two locker at the top conner but take out the speaker is a real challenge.

Do I have to remove dash comand display to access screws? I’ve just found a photo of speaker. Can I just undo those 2 screws marked by arrows and pull the speaker from underneath or isn’t enough room and I have to undo other 3 to replace it from the top?

So are you guys saying there is no point in opening the top of the dash? The speaker will only come off from the back/underside?
Do I need to crawl into the trunk to remove the backing and just take out the sub from there?
Also, what speaker did you replace it with? Any suggestions?

Has anyone replaced the front door sub-woofers? What replacement sub-woofers do you suggest?

you need special tool as I mentioned earlier otherwise no room to remove this screw driver.

Remove top of the dash is a big job, usually center dask speaker only be removed when you remove top dash cover. Since eemove top dask cover is a big job then I tried and success with a special tool to remove 02 screws driver vias command screen display.

for subwoofer in the trunk, you can't remove it in the trunk because it mounted in top of the trunk and you need to remove it from rear seat. It really a big job
