Hello, I bought an "S400 hybrid 2010 Mercedes" a week ago, unfortunately, and I paid all my money, the car shut down suddenly when I was driving in the morning, and that problem appeared in the YouTube video, I replaced the 12-volt battery in the rear car with a new one and the small Auxiliary battery.
Unfortunately, the car still shows the same indicator in the video, I checked the car twice in the OBD diagnostic scanner. You can read the inspection report in the picture.
I consulted several mechanics, some of whom told me the malfunction might be an electric short-circuit, or Poor wiring conductivity, and some told me that the problem was from the computer, or the ECM, Please watch the video and read the diagnostic report and provide help.
Our company successfully repairs the High-Voltage Battery (HVB) and Power Control Module. If you haven't solved your problem let me know. We will be glad to help.
I have solved the problem by replacing the Power Control Modul. I am interested in repairing the PCM (the one that was on my car) if this is possible.
Can you please tell me an aproximate price for this repairing of the Power Control Module ?
Thanks.

Hi George, what is the approximate price and turnaround time for having the conversion done? Just curious. I do not own a S400, but have come across one for sale with this issue and wondering if it's worth the headache to have done...
Thanks
@chefcorey1 $7,900 with 2-3 weeks turn around (once it is scheduled first). If you can get a non-running S400 (which you otherwise like in terms of condition, colors etc) for a few thousand that would make sense. Also should work for anyone who already has S400 with problems - last time I checked a new battery at the dealer was $12,000 and a new drive controller $8,000 not to mention labor and many other parts which can go wrong.
If converted can the vehicle pass inspection. Can you tell me about the process?

It depends what inspections, where are you located and what’s being inspected?
I would expect safety/mechanical inspections to pass (like in Europe where a car is put on a “shaker” which applies forces to steering/suspension etc) as those components are not being touched.
I would expect it to pass exhaust pipe emissions as the gasoline engine runs the same.
If inspections check for modifications, it could fail. I’ve heard that apparently some places like California start to check if car engine controllers have the same image as installed at the factory.
The conversion is quite involving, removal of all the high voltage components/battery/motor, replacing parts running on 110V like AC with traditional ones, solving the problem of a few inch gap now created between engine and transmission once the electric motor is removed, adding a flywheel, traditional starter etc etc, plus re-programming of the controllers which is the hardest part.
