Level control switch in the rear attached to the axle is the likely problem due to breakage from corrosion.

the weight of the linkage and or a bump will likely make that fall so it dumps all air and becomes undrivable

your failure mod is unusual... never drive when down it damages the airbag

It's in the middle of the rear of the car attached to the rear sway bar, you have to be under the car with a flashlight and is not visible from the angle of the photos you have posted. Get all the way under the car or get it on a lift and you will see it.

that looks like the bracket that usually snaps off is OK and the link rod just fell to bits on the sensor end...

you could just swap the link using the new ball and socket on the sensor end and pop the other plastic ball joint on to the bracket that's still on the anit-roll bar.
But double check its integrity if all four of the silly 2mm bits that locate the ball to the clamp are not fractured and the new socket moves nicely on the old ball you could get away with it... otherwise its super nasty. There is no way u can clip the clamp on the anit-roll bar in situ...

When you attempt to fix this not using a lift the height of the car in the rear will go down as you remove the rod and replace it with a new one and then re-attach it. Be careful, you could get crushed under the car.

The orientation of the rod is probably incorrect. In relationship to the sway bar that the clamp is on and the switch it is connected to, the rod should be angled as such: /

Look at your photo that shows the rod broken, it should have the same orientation but connected to the switch.

did the fuse pop when the rod fell off.... and its let the air out to drop the height?

be careful working on it like that.... I expect you haven't connected it right... I guess EasyPhil's point could be correct.... with the wheel off and along screwdriver you can reach and get it to lift (if its working)

If the orientation of the rod is incorrect, he will have to disconnect it from the switch to correct it.

I just replaced the orientation as it should be. The car did get up a litte bit , and the lift up butten work as well. But the car is still low at rear.

if the orig sensor is seized (normal) and someone changes software to fix it then when you replace the ride height can be wrong

it may settle a bit as it works out life....
or it might pop the fuse (it very common) when working it hard
its possible but shouldn't happen (there's a flat for the bracket to sit in, to keep its location on the anti-roll bar) that things are not seated where they should be, with the extra fun u had might be work checking the integrity of the rusty bracket. When a ball is seized it puts all the movement into the bracket, which then fails and the thing usually drops on its ****
