NTG3 Engineer Menu

Hello All,

I recently got a carplay to retrofit my 07' w221. Everything works except I need to activate AUX/TV in the COMAND to enable the voice transmission.
I have tried 3-5-7 and *-1-hangup trick but both did not work.
Can anyone help me out? Thank you guys!

its a complex procedure took 14 years before this became public on the S class - not sure if aux on is in there...

W221 s550 , w212 e550 , nissan patrol

Engineering menu w221

1# switch off the command system by pressing on /off button or going to vehicle and select display off .

when it turn black

2# push the knob to right side and at same time press the seat massage button and the mute button at the same time , and you will be in the engineering menu .

Cheak this video it's in Arabic language but hope you can understand

w221 S 500 Long

I have try it but it does not works for me. My Mercedes is 2007 W221 NTG3.0 S500 Long.
When I perform your recomendations.
I've try first knob to the right and then seat massage button and the mute button at the same time (but the screen keeps going black).
then I try all three things at the same time and the screen is black again.
Can you help me please?

as I mentioned previously "not sure if aux on is in there" ....it can be turned on using dealer kit in less than 10 minutes - its on all the cars, all you do is display the choice (or not)

ummm, whilst Aux was always there (but menu doesn't show if not enabled) it would be wise to have the latest comand telematics software on all modules (they all link via its fibre MOST and update in a chain)

just thinking way back, there were a number of features that were introduced and lots of bugs that they resolved. if you are pre 2008 update the whole comand is a box of muddled junk.

the easiest way to see if you are anyway near up to date is to look in Nav map views and see if the option alongside north up etc, has "Bird's eye view"

Got the AUX running.

In the Mercedes-Benz Adarsa workshop (Asturias Spain), they did not know that these hidden menus existed. The astonishment was great.
Now the AUX works.

if there are impressed with that - they ought to really happy I added two missing comand unit models to the clock update CD

Hi, I have a Limcet box 5501. It works ok, when I put the option aux it sound, my problem is that I dont know how I can use the OEM microphone. I selected the option in the box, but it doesnt work, any knos how I can activate it? thanks
