oh dear - FYI in settings - time and date - you will find the year info matching what you see in that ENG menus.... - whilst you can appear to adjust, it will not retain the change - the auto time keeping will swap it back as you come out of the time and date settings menu (as soon as the car has visibility of any satellites). there are different versions of CDs / DVDs reflective layers that contain the software info - on every disc made is an inner ring that contains info about the disc, its material and how it was written - the first thing any drive does is interrogate the disc to work out if it knows what to do with it.... if the hand shake goes well, they go on to try and read the important info (AKA software / musics / video etc.)
