No sound with CD/bluetooth, but test sound w/Xentry
its NORMAL and they cost stupid money - and few / none are successfully repaired - never heard of anyone in the UK claim a repair lasted more then 3 months
a few strange people buy a new Hyundai amp and it sort of works with no or very odd steps to get any vol control (its half price).. seems the hardware is very similar, but the control logic isn't manipulated to be a merc, and no one went and tested if you can flash it in to believing its a genuine one...
other modules die (but I suspect the sirius may be happy when its got a good amp), had a few this year where the voice control (linguatronic) module died. and I've heard of people thinking the euro DAB module dies (that's the option we get rather than sirius) - sits in the same place. The issue I suspect you'll have if the sirius thing has died, is pay and subscription fun - its coded drivel inside the module or the serial number is known to the content supplier...

For example if you press + 5 or 6 times then mute on and mute off - the radio will blow you out of the car :-)
And of course if you use bluetooth, you can set the car volume and use iphone/ipod to adjust volume up/down.
Have noticed the level of CD, SD, internal HDD is a lot higher than the bluetooth so be careful when switching back and forth.
