I know you guys are tired of me asking a million questions.
I'm sorry to be asking another question about rim size. But I'm in the process of switching rims because the ones I'm riding on are too heavy and cause my car to wobble under hard acceleration. I have a 2007 S550 RWD model.
The rims I'm looking at are
"Axe EX30"
20x10.5 inches.
With 5x112 bolt pattern.
I really am a noob when it comes to these things, thanks for any help.

Are you looking at 10.5 front and rear?
What's the ET? if it's anywhere near oem, you will not fit 10.5 in the front.
OEM AMG W221 20" wheels 20x8.5 F and 20x9.5 R ET +43, W222 20's ET is +38.

I have no clue what I'm doing when it comes to cars. Can someone explain it to me. Like I'm a 5 year old (reference to those of you that are on reddit)
today at pull apart I got some tires and rims to use from s class. I had to get a pair off a 2006 and a pair off a 2002. The rim size are 17 inch a pair and 18 inch a pair. I'm only putting these rims on JUST to diagnose a problem.(long story) These rims will only be on my car for a week max... so which pair should I put in the front and which in the rear?

If you are getting a vibration all the time or above certain speeds, I would suspect the wheel balance. I believe you said your vibration was only under hard acceleration, correct? If that's the case, take a look at the parts that flex under hard acceleration. Trans mount, guibos, rear control arm bushings, etc. These will flex out of alignment when they go bad and cause a driveline vibration under acceleration and then go away when you let up on the gas pedal. If you haven't replaced the trans mount in the last few years, go ahead and do that. It needs one and it's pretty easy.
The only thing lighter wheels will cure is your unsprung weight. You will get a smoother ride out of your suspension with lighter wheels. It won't do a thing for vibration though.

Been to 5 mechanics who all claim the rims either "need to be balanced and rotated" which I did. Or that the rims are to heavy and cause the vibration... which is weird because the previous owner drove on these rims for months with no issue, and told me it needed a new driveshaft bearing(he's no mechanic though). One of the mechanics I saw charged me 3 grand for breaks rotors and alignment, claimed he drove on the interstate and that the problem was solved... big lie
And yes the vibration isn't there the moment I lift my foot off the gas... (go see my previous thread from a couple weeks ago) it seems like everyone says something different
