Rear self close.
Rest of the doors work fine. From a bunch of reading I assume it’s the micro switch inside the super expensive door latch that’s super hard to remove? In other words it will never be repaired unless it’s starts working again on its own?
we've had three posts where the soft close struts in the doorf failed - get another from a breaker and try
one where the plastic ball joint snapped off on the car end of the drivers door
I have never read in a single car it snap a door loom - but its a Mercedes should be doing this every day on every one made
it was the rear door my seven year old uses so it was like an extra safety feature without me having to tell him to slam the door.

from what I gathered. It’s the micro switches that need electric contact cleaner sprayed on them,. You can’t really see them, so sorry inside the latch a bit at a time and hope for the best.
