Only appeared after battery disconnect and front SAM removal to allow for swapping the SAM case.

Once all the low voltage codes were cleared, these are the only new codes.

What's your question?
It's pretty clear what you have to check now, right?

Seat wiring... Just a weird coincidence that it's thrown a code for both seats simultaneously.

Will have a trawl through WIS and see if the wiring diagrams can shed some light on the likely culprit.

Absolutely spot on @BOTUS 👍

Fuse 64 still intact, but opening the lid revealed the obvious culprit...

I my haste to get everything plugged in, the SAM seated correctly and the lid back on before the rain filled the box up, I didn't quite get the fuse holder locked in, so it was sat cattywampus and hadn't seated any where near it's correct position.

At a glance last night it looked OK, but having driven the car today it was floating free.

My suspicion was a loose plug on the SAM or a pinched wire where the box bolts to the firewall, and although WIS would have lead me to the fuse as a possibility, it was a surprise that any of the Airbag gubbins is fused.

Still, a nice easy fix even if it was self inflicted 🤦

? don't follow - you didn't manage to seat the SAM plastic box back to the car body correctly ?

if that’s the case be careful when it rains or you wash the car - or it will fill up the insides of the car

that part of the car can sit with >5 litres of water sloshing around and it shouldn't come in the car - if you check my other post in the front corner is a BIG 1/2" drain hole - and at the back some mad screen drain funnel garbage - same on the UK drivers side

Nope the actual fuse holder... On my car there are 4 fuses in clip on holders rather than integral to the board... One was fuse 64. They're colour coded and keyed so quite precise. I obviously mislocated it when I popped it all back together and then knocked it jiggling the whole SAM assembly into place to refit the two screws that secure it to the case.

Rest assured both scuttles are now as clean as your pics, learnt that lesson about 17 years ago on an Omega😉

HaHa,

the silly internal air intake on the Omega allows the UV to eat a main loom's fabric trash loom wrap that Germans love to use.... the UV made it all fall off and it blocks the drain - had mega rain one day and it filled the passenger foot well with about 10 litres of water (I'm on a slope so it was all at the front of the footwell) popped open the junk pollen filter access cover - scraped arm to death and fished out handfuls of crud loom tape from the quagmire - 15 litres drained on the outside - dried carpet car was fine for another 10 year - no mental canbus junk to deliberately play up on a GM car

Both my Omegas were way more than twice a car then this junk S class is - ride comfort and seat comfort is leagues ahead of any 221 - I drove my old one to the junk yard after it did nothing for 18 months after getting rid of a mint 335d with active cruise (BMW radar was way better than the 221 mess) and got this S class - to this day I should have driven the S class to the junk yard and kept the omega - I couldn't believe how much better it was to drive than my mint 42 k mile formerly £140k S class w221
