Passenger Side Headrest rattle
I have a 2012 s550 and noticed a rattle whenever Im driving coming from the passenger side headrest, I have done everything from Replacing the headrest, putting tape, felt strips, and even pipe cleaners, and the noise still persists, I know its the headrest because whenever im driving ill put my arm on the arm rest and the rattle stops, is there anything else I can do to get rid of the noise? Its driving me insane!!! When taking the back of the seat off to get access to the plastic guides I noticed they are very flimsy as well, is there anything I can do to get rid of this rattle?

mine does it - its the retarded idea to lower itself against my wishes till it rubs itself on the leather of the chair - if you raise it 10mm it will instantly stop then when your back is turned (a minute later) it lowers itself again till the noise comes back
best car in the world - is what the liars in most car mags say - one of the very worse in my mind.... the list of stuff that could so easily have been right, or better is never ending

You say, "I know its the headrest because whenever im driving ill put my arm on the arm rest and the rattle stops".Originally Posted by LottiBiscotti

This is getting even weirder. You say the rattle is from the passenger seat head rest. Then you corrected that whenever you drive the rattle stops when you put your head on the head rest... This would mean that when you drive you put your head on the passenger seat head rest to stop the rattle...?Originally Posted by LottiBiscotti

What are you smoking...???
Or did you actually mean you put your arm on the passenger seat head rest to stop the rattle?
