Alternator removal replacement, S550 W221 M278
Any detailed instructions to remove and replace alternator in 2012 Mercedes S550 4matic Video, step by step instructions

A red battery light appeared on Dash. OBD scan code P065B00 (stored). Replaced 5-year-old battery, power fuse box.

NGL450 w/EORP, S550
I know what Wiz says, but can we hash out the high points?
Put the hood in mechanic mode
Take off air box
Take out radiator fan
Loosen serpentine belt
Unbolt the passenger side motor mount from above with that special tool
use a cherry picker to lift the motor towards the driver side
Remove all alternator bolts
Weasel alternator out of there
Determine if the alternator bearings are shot
If the bearings are good, just replaced the voltage regulator
OfferUp repaired alternator to the car
Following steps are reverse of removal

Not sure if my RWD is the same, but get a tiny wrench to get at the alternator bolts--at least one of them. I had to get the smallest ratchet I could find, and that just barely fit.
