Overall, I was very impressed by the car. Outside appearance was no surprise, but it looked sharp and distinctively elegant. Wheels sucked, but they were base model wheels and well, they always suck.
Interior was spacious as expected, and the stitched mbtex on the dash/door panels is certainly better than the plastics that abounded on the 221. The design of the interior is really nice, and although the double screens still looks out of place, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
Overall, a very nice luxury sedan. Will spend some time today with the head of the North East region distribution for MB so maybe he can give me some extra perspective.
One thing I disliked was the purple lighting and this car did not have the smell atomizer thingie in the glovebox.
Overall, I think I could see owning one in a few years once the bugs are worked out and the prices drop a bit, but I wasn't so bowled over that I needed to immediately replace the trusty w220.

The interior lighting is still terrible. Can you turn that off entirely? anybody know?
That's been the case with the interior ambient lighting for a while now.
