Can I see my iphone 5s on the comand screen?
I can link music, phones, contacts to the car.
But can I control the iphone 5s from the comand screen? If I did, I could use google maps instead of the nav screen provided.

Google Maps is part of the navigation package; you can choose it instead of the default maps; see the COMAND manual. No, you cannot use the iPhone (or any other phone) except to make a call or play music.

I tried making my iphone a hot spot, but the Benz couldn't see it.
There's something on the net about an iphone integration package...drive kit plus.
Do you know if it exists?

I talked to MB-USA yesterday on this very topic --- no, it cannot be done; the software was not implemented that way for the US market, which uses only mbrace. From another source, there is a rumor that a 4G/LTE option will soon be available for retrofit to make mbrace faster. And they did not know of a data limit to using mbrace.

I would just like to have Apple airplay in the MB. That would solve all obsolescence issues with navigation, entertainment and high costs of antiquated services (mbrace apps, etc., 3G)
