S550 2014
My 2015 s550 entered production in March and has been in B7 status for a while. I was wondering if anybody's car has shipped and if anybody has an estimated delivery date.

From what I've heard there is a "release date" in May for 2015 model year. My S63 was built a while ago and still not shipped. Buddy of mine with similar S63 situation.

The latest DOG shows the release date as sometime in May. That includes the S63. I would suspect that your car will probably ship soon to make that date. I don't think they have announced the exact date in May yet.

Yeah saw that. Mine was a 14 rolled to 15. So release date for MY15 seems like nonsense. But gotta wait. Lol

Have a Flying Spur I ordered just arrive to the port last week. Waiting on S63. Looks like S63 will be the likely winner. The wait is very difficult. I ordered in November for both.

Very happy! The one on the water is on Integrity from W&W. Arrives Baltimore 4/12.

Mine is assigned to a vessel but name not on Netstar. Mine was produced a week later than the other one.

Just hope VPC has no holds for release dates or whatever. Lol

I am pretty sure the VPC will not release the car to the dealerships as the car has not been released by Mercedes unless Mercedes is planning on releasing cars that have not even been officially announced.

I hope not, but we will know for sure next week. The whole 14/15 S63 is screwy. These are 2014 orders changed to 2015. Nothing new except HUD and heated windshield really. I can see an S65 or S600 release date as those are new for 2015, but the S63 just seems like supply chain delays with multiple options. I still believe H10 prevented both of these cars from 2014 MY production. Now neither has H10.

If the past dictates the future, no 2015 will be released before the release date and they will get held by the VPC.

What we need to find out is the release date!

Im just glad its on a boat soon! Looks like 4/9 and 4/12 are next departures from Bremerhaven by W&W RORO ships.

Yup. The last four cars I ordered and the other 2015 S63 all on W&W boats. Just gives me something to pass the time and not take the Flying Spur at the port in RI.

I wonder if this matters but the UK site has the 2015 S Class configurator up. I hope that means the launch date is very close.

UK is often a bit late because of RHD cars. The German site has had the 2015 price list and configurator since early March. On another thread at this forum we already saw MY 2015 cars on the ship towards the USA.

What sort of launch are you expecting?
