Can I remove the airbag stickers on bottom of visors

I was curious if I can remove the airbag warning stickers on the bottom of the sun visors. I started then I thought I should check in case they were not meant to come off (and leave stuff behind).
Thanks.

You will be able to get the label off without tearing the fabric. You will never get out the indentation and/or the glue marks from the label.
Believe it or not, it is actually illegal for a dealer to sell a car without these labels on the sun visor but who cares after you buy it.
The end of my road had two new sun visors. Interestingly however, the label was a separate part number and the new sun visors from the parts depot did not have the labels affixed to them. This was a while back on a SL so I don't know about today's S.

I bet for a couple of hundred dollars you can get a car upholstery place to match the fabric and cover those stupid stickers for good. They can cover anything in the car and the visors should be easy.

The car has a black interior with alcantara visors. The bright yellow airbag warning stickers had to go. After reading this thread I removed the visors (easy) and placed them flat on a table. I used a hair dryer to heat the stickers and loosen the glue. I then saturated a clean cloth with spray goof off and put it on top of the sticker and let it stand for about 10 minutes. Then using a blunt scapel and forceps to lift the edge of the sticker I pulled upwards very slowly to remove -- continuously applying more heat from the hair dryer.
The sticker consists of a durable clear plastic cover and the yellow film underneath (with the text) which is bonded to the alcantara. Mostly if you are careful the yellow film will come off with the clear plastic. If they start to separate, stop and start on another corner. This removed all of the clear plastic outer layer and about 90% of the yellow under layer.
Using a clean rag saturated with goof off I began removing the remaining glue and sticker. Go slowly and experiment with removal. you can push the glue along and remove with a rag. Once most of the remaining sticker and glue was off, I sprayed Goof Off directly onto the visor saturating the alcantara. I left if sit briefly and scraped/squeegeed the goof off out and the remaining glue off using the edge of small metal six inch in ruler I had. I then blotted out the remaining goof off with a clean rag and let the visors air dry (in the garage) overnight.
Visor number 2 came out perfect. Visor number 1 had some minor balling of the alcanta where I was a little to aggressive with the scraping while figuring out how to best do it, not bad just a tiny bit. I used a new schick 5 bladed shaving razor to very lightly shave the minor ***** and strings off. Viola, I placed the visors side by side in direst sunlight and theylook perfect. You would never know they ever has stickers.
I love now that I am looking out of my black on black car my peripheral vision no longer constantly has those ridiculous fire bell yellow alerts distracting may brain. Disclaimer: I am the only person who drives my car and I have studied the manual and I know how the air bags work. I am not recommending you remove your stickers.
NOW FOR THE BIG MISTAKE: I used Goof Off on a hard plastic part. (see next post)

Conclusion & Warning: If you are going to use Goof Off to remove your visor air bag stickers - take the visors out of the car. I can only imagine what would have happened if some Goof Off had dripped down onto my dash.
