OEM Trunk Spoiler - What is everyone's opinion?

It may be the photography but it looks decent on that car. Personally, I don't like the way its on a S Class. If it was a 63/65 then yes, it would look good but on a S500/550 or a 350 like what I have, it doesn't suit the rest of the car.

I agree with a previous post. On an AMG car I think it would look ok. All of my previous cars have been sport package cars but this time around I opted to go with the luxury version adding only the 20" wheels as an appearance touch. I would not add the trunk spoiler to my car even though I was momentarily intrigued by the pictures. My car is also Palladium. I have come to like the smooth rounded effect of the rear trunk and fenders. I've also d-badged my car for an even cleaner look. I'm surprised that a Canadian S would not be preferred in 4Matic. It appears from the photos that this is a rear drive car. Long and short...no spoiler for me.

It is a S Class. A non AMG S Class no less. Therefore you have one of the most luxurious cars on the road focusing on class, presents and elegance. It is large with grace and beauty and quality to no end! Adding a rear spoiler no matter how small changes that to me and looks out of place. Not a fan of this on the S Class or S Coupe. E Class you can get away with it if done right and the C Class it looks like a budget job.

I have it on my car as well - I think it accentuates the curves of the sport package.

S550
I have the spoiler (did not need it, but it came with it) on a non-AMG pack car and it looks a bit out of place even though I have the upgraded 19" wheels.

IIRC the only forged wheels are the ones you can see when building the S65 - they are available on others but can see them together on the S65 build page. The S600 may also have forged options.

Without the spoiler it looks like Mercedes got to the end of the car and took a lunch break. The car just drops off. The spoiler puts a touch of "sporty" and picks up what MB left off. My Vote Yes!

I didn't think they let them eat, I always assumed they were kept in cages and only let out on rotations to build engines.....
where upon they would sneak morsels of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchteln brought to them by other coworkers that pity them
