CLA 12 Interior Colors vs S Class
Why does the CLA have 12 colors while the S Class has very limited choices in comparison to the CLA. Does Mercedes plan add more colors with software updates? I don't understand the logic behind this.

Ambient lighting colours? Well, the CLA was recently facelifted I think while the S Class has been the same since 2013. I'd expect 12 colours or more on the soon to come facelift.

This should be easy enough to do with a software update as I bet the LEDs are already capable of generating multiple colors if they can do three solid cars. Personally I found red and amber are the only colors I prefer at nighttime as light in that wavelength interferes the least with your natural night vision.

if that was available as a software update that would be awesome....I don't drive at night very often though.....but would still love to have more colors.....
