Quick way to turn off fan?
Am I correct that there is no quick way to turn off the AC fan other than clicking on the "Menu" button in the middle of the AC controls, then down with your COMMAND controller, then pushing down to turn it off?
I was hoping there was a faster way without going thru COMMAND.

In my '13 and '14 E350's the lowest fan setting actually turned the fan/ac off, I haven't tried it on the S yet...

Could you explain your scenarios for turning the AC fan off? I would have assumed turning recirculation on would be sufficient instead of turning the fan off?
Pretty quick to turn fan speed down too from the specific button (would need to have "sync on" to turn both sides simultaneously, not sure if rear would need another approach).

I was surprised to see a thread on this, with this few people. It's definitely the most ridiculous (non)-feature I've seen in decades of car ownership.
I have to navigate through 4 steps to turn off the climate control? What a joke.

If you press the star button ★ (3rd of 3) on the center console command trackpad thing, you can see the pre-programmed favorites. If you slide down a section, you can move the items to the left and right. The climate control is in there somewhere. I moved mine to the first position and driver seat massage to the 2nd location. Cool menu for quick actions.
