Anyone know the part number / name for these Rims. I have never seen them on another S550 before.
Black Chrome? When I bring the car in for service, they all complement the Rims and have never seen them before.
THanks

Possibly the black chroming was done aftermarket.

This is the standard 19" AMG RIM that comes with the sport package. The rims were chromed aftermarket.

Yup, Sport Package. I purchased the car a few months back. Has every option except the rear Fridge. These were the Rims it came with.

Thank You Konigstiger! Exactly what I was looking for. No one was able to find it, including the dealer. Everyone tells me they never saw that color before.

I am confused. Konigstiger provided the part no. for the stock 19" rim, not the pics you showed. Dealer should be easily able to provide the same number.

The wheels in the pics were chromed by some shop after the fact.

So the information in the footnote is not the actual color of the rims? I'm totally confused.

So I have a Factory Sport AMG Rim, that was sent out to a shop to give it the look of what I call gun metal gray, not silver chrome, but gray chrome?

MB doesn't make/offer any chrome rims, so yes, whatever chrome color it is, it is done by some shop apart from Mercedes.

Wow, I'm sort of glad the car came with them. I get compliments on the rims everywhere I go.

Where does one go to have something like this done? It looks like a factory finish... Also, in case one gets damaged, I'll need the info for a replacement.

Thanks for the feedback....

This is the front rim. Same part number that Königstiger already provided a while back.
Now you just need to find a chrome shop that that does the same dark chrome plating to match your other wheels.

Not sure if this just for a spare or if you have wheel damage. If curbed, you could just have yours fixed and re-chromed.

Although K post shows the OEM part is finished in "high gloss," which is rare to see from MB OEM so I'm not sure of the difference between OEM high gloss and typical chrome

That's just how the rim is called. There are no "versions" of the rim. MB makes one and that's it.
MB makes no chrome version so it makes little difference as the surface coating & paint gets stripped off anyways

I'm just worried if serious damage occurs. I would like to know I can get the same look. I get nothing but compliments on these Rims, it makes the car with the Sport Package. Its OEM, but with a twist...

No worries. They will be easy to get. It is called black chroming.
