That guy is good. But it's not really DIY if you don't have a STAR system is it?

You are correct on that one!.... Can you accomplish the same by raising and lowering height.....

Not entirely true. The raise/lower button does not make the struts travel the complete range. It gets a lot of fluid exchanged but not nearly enough.

Yeah this demo isn't really for a DIY but more for an independent shop or mechanic. I may buy one for me at the dealership, I just helped a coworker do this on a 230 on Thursday and it was a mess.

That tool is great for the newer ones with the return line on the bottom. the R230, 220, 215 cars I have a large hose I clamp over the return line and everything keeps clean

True, the 230 had the line, but I can see how this makes it nice on the new cars.

I did one flush without it and it was a disaster. Had a big funnel rigged up to the supply hose due to reservoir being removed. When we called for the filter they said it's not available separate so we got a complete reservoir only to find that it uses the same filter as the older cars and is replaceable separately
