Thanks for the analysis, kind of hits what I expect.
having a real tough time figuring out true costs, I’ll Have depreciated my purchase, so rest is gravy.
Thanks again!

My favorite fragrance is Giorgio Armani Perfume and the smell of this perfume is a mix of powder, flower, and vanilla, making it very provocative to those people who would be able to smell it on someone.

Leather Aroma

My '16 S550 C4 came with Freeside Mood which I still use occasionally. But I also bought an empty jar and fill it with a Leather-smelling, alcohol-based spray which I prefer.

Can you share the brand of leather scented spray that seems to work well? Thanks

gtb, It's called "Odor Eliminator Leather Scent" made by Chemical Guys, Los Angeles, CA. I think that I bought it at one of the chain auto supply stores like Kragen or O'Reilly. It's a 16 oz spray bottle with a brown label. I've also used something called "New Car Scent" from a company called Scents in an 8 oz black spray bottle. I don't recall where I got that one.

Great. I use a lot of the Chemical Guys products - black 2018 S550 and Diamond White 2021 GLS. They do a great job. Appreciate the response

I like the idea of a nice leather odor versus perfume. Do any of these give a really good realistic leather odor?

I think that the Odor Eliminator Leather Scent by Chemical Guys definitely does. I use it all the time in my cars.

I did pick up a sampler set - and frankly, on a piece of paper i think it smells terrible.
So, i'm loathe to spend $130 or so for each fragrance to try it - at least nightlife mood (to me) smells MUCH better atomized in the car, than from the little sample vial sprayer.
I'd be interested to know anyone's thoughts, and if they have a favorite scent at sorgenta, or fill a bottle with some sort of essential oils. I read eucalyptus is a no-no - the oil would clog the system. then again, not sure i want my car to smell like Vicks vapor rub.
I saw there's a Maybach agar wood scent - not sure how to sample that, or if anyone can opine on it.
so, thanks for any input!
(i'll try posting my first poll!)
Can anyone recommend some men's perfume? One for everyday use to wear to uni and one to wear on nights out etc. Budget is around £45 .. Although I would prefer some good, cheap ones priced at around £20 - £25 so I could get 2-3, though not necessary.

I just checked the vial in my glove box and it's MB Hibiscus. That stuff literally makes me have an allergic reaction. Almost wrecked my car once when it automatically started the "invigorating refreshment program" (or whatever they call it) and squirted it straight up my nose.

@yovenim I occasionally buy a cheap bottle of Davidoff Cool Water when they have those holiday gift pack deals. That one doesn't make me break out in hives.

As in another slot - anybody tried using Bourbon or Scotch for aroma?

Plenty available on the auction site. You can buy a new empty bottle for around $75, or used bottles for anywhere from $25 to $100, based on the amount of fragrance left inside.

If I were to offer any advice it would be to go with new bottle for now. That way you will know for sure that your system is working properly. Then you can experiment and go with a used bottle or use aftermarket fragrances in your car. Or if you have a friend close by who has a functioning bottle, you could borrow theirs for awhile and see how you like it.

Some guys seem to hate the fragrance and some seem to like it. I love the feature, and really appreciate it. But I'm 6'4" and weigh 300+ lbs, so I need a little "smell good" to offset my BO sometimes. Not really, but I think you know what I mean. Either way, you'll have no shortage of selection on the auction site.

My S580 came with "Bamboo Mood" which is one I havent tried before, its pretty nice.

I'm running the refillable canister right now with Tommy Bahama diffuser oil in it which is great for summer.
