Exclamation [VIDEO] W222 MUFFLER DELETE

Hey MB World!

I made a recent video covering the entire muffler delete and video footage of the sound. I also took off the electronic valves and had no issues afterwards.

Check out my 2015 Mercedez-Benz S550 Muffler Delete Video [W222]

Some guy in my town has a CTS-V with no muffs and drives 10 under then 5 over the speed limit all over town, constantly.

Just as annoying as a rice burner with a fart pipe.

It sounds pretty nice to be honest. I would consider it.

Can you do more sound clips? Also, how does it sound from the inside? Does it drone?

Won't removing mufflers or any other part of the exhaust system change the back pressure to the engine and cause damage?

This engine is turbo charged, so if anything it would reduce back pressure and increase power.

It would increase horsepower with a proper tune to add additional fuel and air.

In the deep past, when there was an open exhaust system, water vapor could migrate to the back side of the exhaust valve and start corroding it and the associated cylinder if the valve happened to be open.

In the modern era, the valves are not going to rust when exposed to water vapor; nor are the MB cylinders going to rust in the presence of water vapor.

Your townhome neighbors must looooooove you. LOL.

I think it sounds pretty good; makes me wonder what my V12 would sound like.
