The color is SO far off from reality. What a joke. The MBUSA IT folks are terrible and should all be fired. Why MBUSA can’t use the MB Germany website engine, which is used in modified form by most other countries, is just beyond me. Want to order an SL? You cannot see the car with the top DOWN on the MBUSA “build” site. Ridiculous!

Funny thing, I like it a lot more on the configurator - in real life, it is an odd contrast.

I hate any color on the top of the dash that isn't black or extremely close to black. Black minimizes reflections on the windshield. How did MB let this pass as a configuration? The two colors do not complement each other.

Saw this the other day. Some S560 guy trying to go Maybach. I don’t like it, but what do I know?

It’s all personal preference. I’ve had many cars with lighter colored dash pads and never noticed a glare. I think the interiors below look great. I also believe that MB went to almost all black dash pads and other interior trim parts to save money. Light colored dash pads are available on new Porsche & Bentley models, which I think is wonderful: give the customer a choice.
