My 2016 S class doesn't stay in the lane.Drifts right. I can't find any posts on this. Will be heading to dealer on this one.

Distronic is auto-cruisr, keeps a fixed distance from the car ahead. Lane keep is what keeps tbe car within the lanes before tugging on the steering wheel to alert the driver. Still a trip to the dealer if it's turned ON.

Ya, something must be wrong with the cameras which are located in the housing above the rear view mirror. Although anything below a 2018 does tend to drift around a lot more but what's going on with yours does not sound normal.

I make sure NOT to trust the active lane assist. The car will FOLLOW the car in front of you, if that car changes lanes.

If the guy in front of you wants to 'off' himself over a cliff, and you aren't paying attention, it might take you for a cliff-flight as well.

Dealer said that's how it was programmed.

If you get issues where it swerves into another lane, and no car in front of you, it could be bad road stripes.

It is STEERING + that steers with distronic.

Lane keeping is separate safty thing that works when DIstornic is off and Buzzes steering wheel when you drift out of the lane
