Seat dynamic contour and massage
Good morning,
Well I’m driving my car this past weekend and noticed the function of the side seat pillars grabbing you on cornering was not working. I go into settings and see that that function is on. So I go to massage and turn that on and nothing happens. Both driver and passenger seats.
I notice when I try to adjust shoulder and lumbar, nothing there also. When I try and select settings in shoulder (from 1-10) it keeps going back to 0.
power seats and heat/ventilation still works. Anyone ever experience this? TIA for your assistance.

I would be checking power at the pump. If the pump is on then time to look for a leak at the air storage tank.

Chances are a bad pump. I wonder how hard that is to replace for a do it yourselfer? I can imagine a new pump is a fairly expensive. Bought online and replaced by independent Benz place could be a much more inexpensive option route to go vs the Dealer.

Here are the directions I DID NOT copy any of the secondary steps such and the link to remove the subwoofer OR remove the trunk cover. IT DOES APPEAR to be very easy to get at in the rear driver side trunk.

In my case the dealer charged $855 for the pump and $440 for labor. This was paid directly by a third party warranty company, and there was a note on my work order to not discount labor.

Got my car back today from dealer. They had to update and commission my pneumatic pump. Cost was covered under the $170 diagnostic fee they charged.
alls well again.
