I actually prefer the grille not blacked out.
Huge difference between an S560 and an E63S. Comfort is what I’m looking for, the S rides worlds better than the E, especially a 63S

Agreed, but since I can't order an S560, its impossible to find one with the 3D system. Its extremely rare, I've never even actually seen one with it.
What I want is a W222, so ordering is out of the question.
So here's the question for you...in my situation would you choose the 750 because you can get it with the Bowers & Wilkins over the S560 with the base Burmester? Thats a legit question, I enjoy the ML audio in my LS a lot...and I would say its similar to the B&W, and better than the Burmester. As a car though, drive and ride and overall enjoyment the S560 is superior to both. Theres my quandary.

I’m in the same boat now, sorta.
Have to decide between a gorgeous loaded selenite Gray 2020 s560 ($131k msrp) and a loaded 2020 m760i ($171k MSRP). The MB would be a purchase, the BMW a 3 year lease. The monthly net is about the same.
The money isn’t a huge issue, though I do like the idea of some equity in the MB versus leasing. Although, cars are such diminishing value assets, the equity ain’t much. The 12 cylinder Bmw would be a blast.
I have to figure it out soon before one of them sells and the decision is made for me.

Yeah that’s a valid concern. These cars ARE selling. 4 or 5 of the ones around the eastern seaboard I’ve been looking at have sold since I started looking in mid August.

Hi Everyone,
My lease is up on the S560, and I need a brand new car within the next two months. Stopped by at the BMW dealer and test drove the 750 that day. The car was so powerful, but the seat was less comfortable than S-Class. I know some of you probably were in my shoe before and had to choose between S- class, and BMW. Any personal opinion about BMW 750? Thanks for sharing.

the tech is vastly superior to my S560 - probably about equal to the new S. And the dealer service people and Guru team are actually happy to see you! For me, it’s been a Huge upgrade Over my dozen plus MBs and most recent Poor ownership experience.
good luck on your search.

if you can find one, test drive an Alpina B7. ‘this car starts life as a 750 and then Alpina modifies it. I just dumped my 2018 S560 lease 6 months early due to ongoing noise penetration problems and leased a B7. It’s an amazing car. Ultra quiet and comfortable in comfort mode and a beast when you push the Sport button. 25MPG Hwy mileage and 0-60 in 3.3 seconds when you want...seriously!

1) does the next generation of cars or one after seem better than this to you (e.g. you may not care about self driving) and do you mind being seen in an older car that enthusiasts may prefer? (5 vs 6 digit rolex debate comes to mind)
2) are you comfortable tuning your car? Is a tuned s560 as close to an S63 as it seems on paper?
3) personally i would just get a slightly loved like 3-5k mile type v12 s65. if you already like the S And want power and want a bit of a difference over the previous S.
I think that is an engine that will be well paired to an S and I doubt they will make it like that again.
Fwiw Steve Jobs leased S after S in six month intervals.
