Put my Maybach up for sale on the general forum
Dont use the car that much anymore. If anyone looking for a great S class Maybach this could be your car.

Maybach a 'fun' car? LOL. Luxurious? Yes, but FUN? Nope.

I would call it fun considering I have driven it on a track and realized it handles a lot like my AMG GTC just not as fast.

Yes I would not call it thrilling. I get in the GTC for that. But it is amazing how a 5300 pound car can cruise down the road in total luxury and then you put the sport button and the car can handle like a sports car.....

Beautiful! If I was in the market for one. God’s willing someday GLWS! Car looks great. Will you be replacing it with another car?

Well we have the GTC and a couple others. I only have it for sale because we don’t use it that much anymore and there aren’t many car shows going on these days due to covid. As far as replacing it with another S Class. Perhaps.

We dont have any kids. The cars are far cheaper than what kids cost.

I take no credit for any smart decision here, as our RIA makes all these decisions for us. She's smart as damn whip.

Well Dave you could be correct but then I dont need to sell my car. Of course there are people out there that take into account all aspects of a car in addition to miles on the odometer. Kind of like 30,000 on a rental car is a bit different than 30,000 miles on a car that is REALLY cared for.

Right now I am just trying to force myself to be content with my tuned S550 at 60,000 miles....
@Katie22 , stick to your guns. You clearly love your Maybach S600, so just keep enjoying that beauty.

Recently I was looking to buy a 2020 AMG GTR and offered my Maybach for trade in. They would give me 65 for it. Now if trade in is 65 then retail must be something more and knowing a dealer its probably a LOT more than what they would offer for trade. If someone had an offer I by all means send it.

The biggest concern with the S600 is that almost nobody will offer you a warranty on one if it's outside of the original factory warranty because of their repair history. Certified is the only way that I'd ever purchase one as you can buy up to 3 years of coverage at a reasonable price. And that will be money well spent as lots of stuff does break on those V12's. Coil packs, ABC high pressure lines, pumps & struts, turbos, and electronics are always a concern with those high end V12 cars. And at your miles, those are the items that will start to go and cost a small fortune to fix outside of warranty.

Who would have thought that a car with 75000 miles on it would all of a sudden fall apart and need warranty repairs (of course warranty repairs). Why even buy a product if its that terribly made. Anyone who agrees with Dave dont buy anything from Mercedes and OF course if you do you MUST have a warranty (because PT Barnum said a sucker born even min). Disregard ALL the statistics in the world that point out that todays cars last longer than ever and are more reliable that ever.
Dave you could be correct that my price is too high but then I have herd that before and still sold things for what I asked. If I dont sell it that's fine as well.
PS do you have any factual evidence to show that my V12 engine is going to have all these failures your talking about. You mentioned coils and on my car each cylinder has its own coil made by Delphi. Seems to me they probably are similar to what are used on many other cars and nothing out of the ordinary.
