S 560 - suggestions to fix phone issues?

Question S 560 - suggestions to fix phone issues?
Got a 2020 S 560 and everyone I talk on the phone with complains I sound muffled or far away. I've adjusted the phone settings on the Mercedes with no success. Any suggestions on fixing the outgoing phone quality? My car is my office and I can't have a substandard connection.

Issue with this car solved thanks to PatentLawyer's suggestion. Deleted phone and re-paired. Love it when the simple fix does the trick.

Same here. I assume you have deleted your phone from the car and re-paired it? Sounds silly, but sometimes "resets" like that fix strange issues.

Maybe the microphone is bad in the car which would be a warrantee issue

It sounds like something is wrong with the microphone. Mine is clear and unmuffled.
