Suspension components refresh - help

I have about 80K miles on my car now. I can hear a noise coming from the front end when I push up/down on the front end, and can also hear the same (or another) noise constantly as I am turning the steering left/right. Car drives super smooth, just noise.

Dealership recommended this part: Lateral Arm (222-330-23-01), both left and right. Link: https://www.mercedesbenzstarparts.co...arm-2223302301

Questions:
  • Do you all believe that this part could cause a noise as you turn the steering? or could there be also another part that needs to be replaced since the noise immediately appears when steering is turned left/right. Another (or same) noise appears when I push on the front end.
  • Any other websites you recommend for this part?
  • Given the fact I have about 80K miles on my 2015 W222, do you recommend that I replace any other suspension components on the way while am doing this job? Liek Stabilizer Link, or what-else? I want to be proactive and do it all at once cause am keeping it for 4-5 more years.

My Maybach had a lower suspension arm replaced under warranty with about 30000 miles on it. It was making that squeak noise. Noise has been gone ever since.

Any suspension parts ever been replaced? All original? Worn suspension parts are easy and quick to ID by a pro.

At 80k, ball joints could be worn, too. BTW a good Indy can do all this work to include allignment.

No, nothing was changed at all. I have the lower control arm, and the lateral arm on my list to replace. I am not sure yet about the upper control arm, and wanted to see if others think it is a good idea to replace it too, but I believe the upper control arm and it's ball join would last longer as it has less stress than the lower and lateral control arms.

MB is not an exotic suspension. Take it to a pro Indy and let him look. If he's a pro, he can tell you what you need...no guessing. Bushings on these heavy cars wear out. Same for motor and trans mounts. Just go to a pro and get fixed up.

I replaced both lower control arms (also known as spring control arms) on my S at just 40,000 miles. This immediately fixed the problem (squeaking). Sadly, on cars with MBC this replacement process isn't possible without the STAR programming technology.
I recommend replacing the lower control arms before anything else; From what i've seen, that has always been the cause of squeaking.

Well, this is why I am super confused. The mechanic on the results sheet recommended I replace the SPRING ARM..... to me I know that SPRING arm is actually, like you said, is the lower control arm!. However, when i asked the service advisor to translate Spring arm to a part number so I can order, when i crosslinked the part number, he gave me a part number that leads to the Lateral Arms. I am not sure now what is the spring arm!, is it the lower control arm or lateral arm!).

I've also heard that the two lower arms in front wear out fairly early, like by 50k. They have a ball joint at the spindle end and a bushing at the body end and either or both of these can get loose and affect the ride and steering. Good news is they're fairly inexpensive and simple to change.
