I know this has probably been discussed a million times already, but I have 2 kids and have always had black interior leather in my Mercedes. Well I sat in a '20 with Porcelain/Black Exlusive Nappa Leather and I LOVED it! Well my best friend and wife said this looks great, but the seats will probably stain easily due to blue jeans, etc. Is there anything I could treat the seats with since I do wear jeans a lot to keep this look as this is a gorgeous interior. Seems like this interior set up would stain easier than the beige interior...
Thanks for any input!
Looking to add a new S to the family again very soon!
They do make ceramic treatments / coatings for leather, and they will help delay the inevitable. As long as you clean and condition the leather on a regular basis I doubt it will be of significant concern.
I have very similar colored leather in my wife's Chrysler Pacifica minivan (I know, crazy lol) and really its very manageable. The seats are coated with cquartz leather, and I maintain them with Colourlock products and they stay clean and dye tranfer free. My wife wears a lot of dark jeans and I do regularly clean dye transfer off but as long as you stay on top of it, its not bad.
My S560 has the black interior, but the porcelain is my favorite.

Thanks and I agree the porcelain w/black is a beautiful interior, especially with all of the triangle stitching on the doors and dash.
I have the Porcelain interior. Its is a real stand out. Everyone gets taken back when the door opens. Its beautiful. It sucked me in the second I saw it at the dealer. That said I am OCD and dont like light interiors for the reasons you stated. I am 3 years in. It does take a little caution, and routine maintenance. I keep a towel on the backseat in case I am ever dirty or sweaty. The Nappa is softer and NOT more durable as the regular leather. It does take care. I use Chemical guys leather cleaner, and it works gently and very well. I also use their leather conditioner. I dont wear blue jeans much.....but you can tell when I do! I dont let the seats stay soiled in any way for very long. I notice its dingy I clean them soon. Be gentle they are soft. My daughter calls my car "the clean car" as in no food or drink other than water!! LOL I love the interior and would do it again but it does take care. It is an S550 not a pickup truck so not that hard...unfortunatly I treat my Denali Pickup just as well!!
I have seen this interior in for sale ads and they are always stained and soiled. Not a color if sweaty or dirty...its unforgiving.
At least the carpet isn't a light color that will stain easily.
Here in Texas with our 95 - 100 degree summer days there's just too much perspiration and body oils for light colored interiors. Armrests in particular need constant cleaning.
