Question 2015 S550 drivers door creaking on closing and windows up/down with key fob

Hello guys. I purchased a 2015 S550 LWB few weeks ago. Its Iridium silver with 75.000 km. AMG package with black interior. All in, the best car car I have ever owned, I have owned few German flag ship sedans and this one tops the list. Truly love the styling, the ride, the feel and comfort. Definitely a keeper for a long time. Right of the bat i have noticed two things about the car before I bought it but it did not bother me or influenced my purchase decision. First, when I close the drivers door, it creaks, not squeaking but cracking. Very dull sound, almost like hinges are too tight. With that said, i've loosened them, lubricated and no difference. Door is not rubbing anywhere either. I have also removed wiring harness going in to the door to get room to spray lubricant inside. Did that, no difference, still creaks, only when closing. Car does not appear to have been in an accident. Clean Carfax(not that it means a lot). I have checked the body panels, prior the purchase, they are all 100%. No paint difference, overspray, anything indicating that anything was replaced, adjusted or painted (including the door hinge nuts). The sound seems to be coming from the inside the door, along the pillar.
I am not sure if anyone has had this before? This is very uncommon of the Mercedes brand, especially S class?
Second, less bothersome quirk I have noticed is that windows/sunroof do not roll down or go up via key fob. Never did from day one. Now this may be related to the door issue, if the door was replaced and they never reprogrammed the key fob (if there is such a thing, because of different electronics in the drivers door?) Again, I can't see that the door was replaced (unless with identical one). Rocker panel, door jams, everything around drivers door looks original.
I would really love to solve the creaking door problem, its killing me every time i get into the car, really embarrassing.
So that's it, if you guys could chime in I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you

Convenience closing check key battery. If fine make sure door handle sensor area is clean, and remove handle to check associated wiring. No luck may need to replace, handle sensor is not available separately need VIN to supply part #. Door hinges try proper torque.

Thanks for the info. I did not mention that fob works to lock and unlock. Convenience lock and unlock also works on all doors. That would eliminate the fob battery I guess. What you said about checking the wiring, is it the wiring under the handles ones they are removed?

I have the same issue in the 2015 w222 with 120k miles on it( high mileage in know...) I purchase recently. My mechanic noticed the door creaking noise and told me the door hinges need to be replaced. I went back to the dealership and had them include in the purchase contract to repair it. Fast forward a few weeks, they replaced it and it came back without the "continuous stay" which allows the door to stay at whatever angle it was left at instead of the 3 presets most other cars have. Did some research on the forum here and realize MB no longer makes the old part and all s-class after 2015 have the standard hinge.

I would think carefully if you plan to repair it, because it will lose that function. But I think most people wouldn't realize the difference but most will easily notice the creaking noise. Apparently it is also a costly repair out of warranty I have read.

Just watched the video. The door handle lights on my 2014 are not working. Would this be an easy way to replace the bulbs if I had the right part? I thought the entire door panel had to be removed to replace the door handle lights. Can someone clarify?

LED is mounted in door handle bracket accessed from inside door. Font & rear left is part # 0998200183 or 099820018364 (same part second is MB direct), right 0998200283 / 099820028364.

Thanks for the response. Lights are working on my front doors but both rear door lights are out. This fix is way more complicated then I want to handle and if I had the dealer do it the cost might be $500 a door and both doors would rattle when done. I would like to have them working but I don't see a viable solution, at least not for me.
