Help figuring out what I’m actually paying extra due to market

I'm in the same boat buying 2020 S450 CPO with about 25K miles for $75K. I also think it's a little overpriced, but on the other hand I'm trading in my 2020 BMW 740i for $60K, which I bought 10 months ago for $55K.
So after all not a bad deal

I purchased a 2018 Range Rover Supercharged about a year ago and am going back to an S class. I love the way the rover drives and mine has every little thing available and the interior is comparable in quality - however the technology sort of stinks. It looks nice but the reaction time on the touch screen is really slow and the CarPlay reliability is spotty. I’ve had the software updated I can’t tell you how many times and they also replaced a number of the computer system communication modules. My warranty is getting close to being out and I just don’t want to own that technology and the expenses long term.
I wish Mercedes had an s class quality suv but the gle and gls are just not quite as nice as they should be in my opinion so I’m going back to a car.
So what is interesting is that my Rover is worth more in relative terms than the S560s. Sticker price is similar as my Rover was spec’d highly but the S560s I’m looking at are around 5-10k more in original MSRP. So I find it odd that I am moving to a year newer in a 2019 CPO S560 and will be receiving cash from the dealer. It’s not as if CPO cars are priced under market and the dealers are in this business to make money so they will be selling my rover for more of course than they give me for it. The S Class should be significantly more reliable too so the whole thing is strange to me - except I guess people just don’t like big sedans as much as they like SUVs.

have you not driven a GLS63 or GLS580? The 63 interior is top notch

I was helping a friend to shop for a new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder and Nissan dealers are marking up the "Platinum" version of this over 15k and will not budge, MSRP is around $43k and they want 60k. Honda and Toyota stick an extra 5k on cars too. Used car market for cars that still have warranty are going to be expensive for at least another year.
Most clean cars I've seen selling, are more in line with 60-70% of MSRP currently.
Thoughts?
