S 560 Renntech upgrades
Hi guys this Is my first post. My question is has anyone upgraded specifically their 560 with renntech mods? If so is it worth the upgrade? Do you notice the difference in power significantly? Also did you add on all mods or only the hp and torque? Also are the stock Brakes good enough for the upgraded power?
I just got a CPO 2019 S 560 4matic around 2 months ago. I love this car and am seriously considering using renntech mods. Although it would void my unlimited Mile warranty. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

MBWorld Fanatic!
Beautiful S you have there. Be careful with those 20" wheels, they're known for bending.
Not sure on the Renntech performance on the FL W222, but you are correct that it can void your (great) CPO warranty. Maybe wait until it expires?

That was my initial thought as well. I spoke to one of the guys from the shop that would be doing the work and he said there’s never a problem and worst case I can always bring it back to stock. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with the mods first hand

2015 S550 4Matic, 2014 ML550
540 Horsepower, 715 Ft-Lbs Torque and it uses 91 Octane. Yes, I can definitely notice the difference in performance.
Also put on RennTech sport mufflers (which sound great) and installed BMC air filters. I went full high-school and I'm loving it!

Wait on the mods because of voiding the unlimited mile warranty. The cost of repairing the S class is ridiculous. An example is if you do the engine tune and use your additional HP (a lot) you may need engine mounts & a trans mount $5,000 bucks. Wait

Im a long time Renntech owner but.....
My 2015 S550 with Renntech everything and approx 30k at the time had its warranty voided and it was MB serviced since day one and Renntech installed at approx 10k. It was fine in SOCAL where dealers actually install the parts but elsewhere no bueno!
I also had the extended warranty on my G63 voided and refused to work on it because of Renntech mods.
The S550 was my favorite car I have ver owned and I have owned a lot of higher end cars. I absolutely love Renntech products but they do not have the same tie in with MB as they used to and that can clearly be seen by the only handful left of installing AD's
Used car no factory warranty I would say go for it 100% But on a newer car No as I learned the $6k lesson in repairs plus the $3500 lost in warranty. I do not believe the Renntech part were at fault for any of the needed repairs.

I decided to do the tune because of renntech reputation, the fact that its a mild tune and I have no warranty or payment so why not.
i have heard of some dealers that to the renntech mods, but most dealers ive dealt with are kinda canned and all the same responses.
i just make friends with the parts team and do the work myself or on a client’s lift.

I did a Weistec ECU tune on my 2015 S550 in December after owning the car for two years.
