Getting nice wear out of Conti pro contact ssr gx run flats. Happy with them
These front continental pro contact ssr gx run flats have 30k miles on them and look like they can go at least another 12 k miles I’m happy. They ride nice too. I replaced the rears after 26k miles. Probably coulda got another 4 k miles outta them because I kinda utilize the 463 hp this car had otherwise they woulda lasted longer. I’ll probably put these same tires on my e class wagon when it’s ready for tires.

How’s the road noise with them? I had Conti DSW on my CLS and they were louder than the Pirelli P Zeros that they replaced.
I am running Good Years right now, which is what the car came with, but I have always been fond of the Conti’s on my previous Mercedes.

I don’t really notice any road noise. I guess my alignment must be spot on too as the tires are wearing very evenly. These are all season tires with a AA 500 wear rating. Ya I’m not really fond of the Goodyears at least the eagle sports that’s what my wagon had and they were super stiff. I ended up giving them away after 10k miles.

Thanks for the feedback, that tire still looks great after 30k miles, I might take a look at these when mine get closer to needing to be replaced. My Goodyears are Eagles, I just can’t bring myself to spend the money while they are still in good shape!

I’ve had All season Continentals on my last three cars with a few exceptions. Now have Michelin Primacy MXM4 all season run flats on the S560.
Some reviews say the Primacys are crap but I see a good share of reviews about Continentals being loud.
Never had run flats before. Never not had a spare tire. Not sure whether to ditch the Michelins before the Dec/Jan snow and ice season.
I could get stuck in the middle of nowhere with a tire store that knows nothing about run flats or where it takes 1 week to get them or where I need to replace all four to get back on the road.
Some reviews say the Primacys are crap but I see a good share of reviews about Continentals being loud.

I don't think that is a huge risk of a tire store not knowing anything about a runflat, they have been aroudn 20 years. You can get them at any major tire retailer and if you at a gas station in the middle of nowhere there is probably not a big chance you will get a higher performance 19-20" tire in stock anyways. That said getting rid of them is something I plan to do my my MXM's wear out but so far these tires are pretty darn good from a wear standpoint.

My car is only 2 years old and 3,500 miles. So not much use. Thinking if I need to replace before snow.

2015 MB S550 & 2020 MB GLS 450
These are good looking all season run flats, but unfortunately don't come in a 20" tire. It still looks like there are no all season run flats available for 20" wheels.
