W222 Wiper Blade

What is the best source for wiper blades?

Dealer wants to charge $290 for a set, which seems crazy expensive for wiper blades.

I found the following options online:
They are in the range of $140-190 USD. What suppliers/sources do you all recommend/use for wiper blades?

I purchased a set from FCP Euro a few years ago. They have a lifetime warranty so every time I send a set in it cuts the price I paid in half. Have not replaced the set I have now yet but will this summer/fall and they will be free.

Sounds like that the best way to go. The cheapest wiper anyone could get, that are OEM quality or OEM, are FCP ones as soon as the are replaced once.

I recently got some from AliExpress, 2 pairs for $80, I decided to roll the dice. Only today I was thinking that they are making some noise 🙁, I may try the second pair and see if they do better. I have a decent sized store credit at FCP, so I’ll go there if all fails.

When my wipers became noisy, I replaced them with a pair of genuine Mercedes wipers that I bought on Amazon for $150.

Same here... lifetime replacement, no questions asked. You can replace them every year with FCP.

That lifetime replacement sounds great. Wish we had it over here. I use the Valeo 572320. They are still not cheap but cheaper than the MB original ones and I think they are actually identical. Maybe someone can confirm but I think at least in Europe they are the actual manufacturer.

I see you are in Europe, in the US all S Classes have magic vision control, the only company (other than chinese knockoffs) that makes a replacement blade is MB.

Nico, I found this on the FCP site. They do service international customers. But maybe it's too complicated or costly to be worth it because of duties/taxes/shipping, etc.? They currently have OEM Magic Vision (2228201145) blades for $173 USD for a set of two.

  • Does this apply to international customers?

Yes. FCP Euro will cover the replacement cost of the part only. We do not cover shipping, duties/taxes, or other fee's applicable to an international purchase (ex: currency conversion, etc).
I hope this helps!
