Rear seats are not diamond stitched.

Can anyone who currently owns a W222 with Exclusive Nappa please chime in here?

That’s what I’m saying. As I recall, the rear seats should match the fronts. Everything about your car looks “Exclusive Nappa Leather,” with the exception of the rear seats. Your rear seats look like the “Nappa Leather” seats. Here is a photo of rear “Exclusive” Nappa Leather seats:

A custom piece carried over from my E450 wagon that I made. We travel with our dog, a Springer spaniel, and have quite the setup for the back seat. She likes to get closer to us so I made it to protect things. Plus it keeps airflow moving out of the rear vents.
1/8 inch aluminum covered in 3M vinyl then leather. It matched our nut-brown interior, not so much with the black. It’s kind of short but may work. I also use some leather swatches to cover the armrest. Cowhide pieces.

Thats really interesting...those are the wrong rear seats for the car...I wonder if it was built that way in error or if the rear seats were replaced in the car...but those are definitely the wrong rear seats.

I've test driven dozens of W222 in the past 12 months before I bought mine, almost all of them had the upgraded interiors (Exclusive Nappa or Semi-aniline). I went through all the photos I have for those I test drove. Not a single one had non-matching rear seat including the few 2020 S560s. I know that BMW uses a specific code in the build-sheet for show-cars (like demos); but even in that case there are no shortcuts, and in all cases, I never heard that MBenz is doing that. Is their a specific code in the build-sheet for demo or show cars? If so, does it come with some shortcuts?.
if the vehicle is still under warranty, wouldn't that be considered a factory error or factory material "defect" covered under warranty? If so, you might ask them to get new matching rear seats if you care that much. On the BMW forums, one person posted that his pre-owned vehicle came with the wrong physical buttons for seat heating/cooling (showing heating symbol only despite the car has cooled seats too). He took it back to the dealer and they installed the correct AC control panel.

I’ll check with the dealer Monday. I don’t see anything for show or demo on the build sheet. It’s what the sales manager told me. They had another exact copy of my car with about 11k miles, I was having them check some things on it and in that process it was sold. Same history - MB owned out of California, used as an exec, show, or golf tournament car. Exact same options and MSRP of $138,175. It’s build/delivery date was about 2 weeks after mine. Unfortunately I deleted pics of it. Maybe my sales guy has them in his phone.
I’d like to know what happened and maybe get it fixed if possible. I don’t want a mismatched seat color or create an unintended issue by pulling out seats. They must pull these out to fix things. It doesn’t bother me too much, just want to understand the build.

Its possible it was built that way, we have seen a couple material mismatches like that through the years...
If its certified and should be under the original warranty, I bet they replace it with the right seat.

My sales guy still had the pics and sent them to me. This is the car I missed. Sold as I was asking them to check a few things. Identical build sheets, line by line, and same sticker price. Same MB owned history. It has diamond stitched rear seats.
The dealer is looking into my rear seats.

Its actually the same leather, the only difference is the stitching pattern, the exclusive obviously also gets the leather dash and full doors, wood on the back of the seats and the alcantara headliner.
