MBC in S550s = Unobtainium?
Question to owners: have any of you been able to compare ride comfort at night with that of an airmatic equipped model?
Thanks!
I had a '12 S450, but don't know if it had any type of ride add-on.

For those with MBC, there any visual indications of MBC cars, and what is the code name for the feature as a VIN check would display it?
On my window sticker, left column under PERFORMANCE:HANDLING, the bottom item reads “AIRMATIC Air Suspension” Across from this in the right column, under OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT…, the sixth item is “487 MAGIC BODY CONTROL 4,450”
Neither Airmatic, MBC, or any indication of either appears anywhere on my car. I’ll double check that in the morning and correct it if I’m wrong.
. Is there any advantage to getting a facelift model aside from infotainment? I prefer the looks of the pre-facelift but want to make sure I'm not missing any life-changing improvements if I go that route.

The topic has been discussed in detail in previous threads so I will cease from mentioning all the details, but make sure you evaluate the balance and importance of having 4-Matic vs MBC. Also, some users reported that MBC has slightly harsher ride on smooth roads, which is true because the airmatic in the regular one are better/softer (subjective) than the suspension of the MBC under certain conditions (and also at night). Take all of this with a grain of salt and do some research and look for previous threads. I think in the end it depends on where you live, the market and what matters the most for you. The S560 is such a comfortable vehicle to ride, so with and without MBC, it is one of the best vehicle on earth (IMO), at least until you get to the Bentley and RR of the world.
