Programming garage door opener
I reviewed the manual. Only works with ignition on. If I turn off the car but have not opened the driver’s door will the garage opener button work? I would think so, yes?

OK so this was easy. After I pushed the learn button and went back to my car, it seemed to pick up the code right away, even though it's a rolling code. (Flashing green) I only had to push the button on the mirror once. I did this myself with no help other than a ladder. I have a Liftmaster garage opener. I "thought" I remembered the learn button being inside where the light is, but it's actually on the back of the unit.

After all those years, I still don’t understand why companies like BMW and Mbenz are yet to integrate the setup in the infotainment screen so it’s an easy single push button process than the current complicated process.

I think it’s fine to do that. But I don’t want it to be like a Tesla. Having to use the screen to open and close.
