Buying new tires
I'd like to get the groups thoughts. In another month or so, I'm going to need new tires. I have 275/35/20's in the rear and 245/40/20's in the front. All tires are Pirelli Run Flats. I really like them, but for my new tires I'm wondering if I can go without doing the run flats. I do like Michelins, but would love to get input here.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I would definitely go non runflats...I have the PZero All Season Plus non runflat and they are great, they just came out with the new version of them. Only issue is my fronts wore out pretty quick...replaced them with the same tires and the rears are still fine

Appreciate the response. I really like the Pirelli PZero run flats, but I'm definitely going to go non run flats. These run flats do wear quick, especially since you can't rotate.

For me the decision would be between the PZero non runflat or Continental DWS 06+

I have typically ran Michelin A/S4 all seasons, non run flat. I have the tire fix kit and tools in the trunk on the off chance I pick up a nail. Very happy with them. Much quieter than the run flat crap.

I have Michelin Pilot Super Sport 5 non run flat tires . I also have Michelin tire compressor as well as tire repair kit . You could also consider of MOE Series tires better ride comfort than run flat tires but not as good as conventional tires .

I also have the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 and they run better than the P Zero run flats I replaced. I believe they’re not directional so you could technically rotate them side to side, but not sure how beneficial that is. I might try the continental’s next set depending on how these wear out.

I was looking at the Michelin Pilots and A/S non run flats. Like both of those options and still really like the Pirellis. I'm definitely leaning non-runflat.

The Michelin tires aren't as soft or quiet, they are more aggressive. Depends on what you want, in something like a sports car I would choose the Michelins, but in the S Class I want the best ride and refinement, so I wouldn't consider the Michelin UHP tires personally.
I also had a set of Michelin Primacy MXM4 grand touring tires on the car, and they were nice but the car seems to drive better on UHP tires.

Costco can order BF goodrich all seasons for $1140.00 that was my quote with tax and putting them on. Area codes i am sure have effect on price. I live in Green bay wisconsin.Same staggered 20 set up, again this is a order item you will need to go in the store and buy them , i would call and see what's available in your area. Non run flats of course...

Another month into your new tires, how do you feel about them now? What cold pressure are you running? I’m still thinking of going to 18’s, but the thought of having the set of 19’s laying around is not attractive, so I may just put new tires on the 19’s and call it a day.

I ended up getting the Pirelli as well and are happy with them! Much smoother/quieter ride, I keep them pumped from 38-40 here in la so it doesn’t really below that especially after driving a bit
